Tan Sri A K Nathan deserves to be Master Builders Association Malaysia President

As I was the Secretary General for 9 years of MBAM about 30 years ago, I am always interested in the welfare of the Association. The Association’s AGM was held on 23 June 2018 and I am shocked to know that the past deputy President, Tan Sri A K Nathan was not even elected to be one of the 26 central committee members who will then choose the leaders for the Association. He was knocked off by a coup lead by some unscrupulous stupid idiots.

Tan Sri AK Nathan’s track record

I would like to take this opportunity to record what Nathan has done for the Association. While he was MBAM Building Chairman, he donated Rm 300,000 and gave Rm 500,000 interest free loan to buy a 1 acre of land for building the MBAM HQ Building. His committee organised a building design competition and selected the Architect who submitted the best design. He plans to complete the MBAM building project by end of 2021. I doubt it can be done without him.

Nathan has been the past deputy President and a committee member in the last 15 years. All of a sudden, he is nobody in the Association. I suspect a group of unscrupulous Chinese contractors did not vote for him because he is Indian.  If he would have been elected as President, he would have been the first non Chinese President in the history of Mbam.

For the first time in the history of IFAWPCA Convention Tan Sri A K Nathan have revised the overall program to have 1.5 days Conference and 320 booth exhibition. Most of the speakers and 2 of the moderators have agreed to participate due to his personal relationship. He also established MBAM Onebuild Sdn Bhd to embark on exhibition business creating a JV between MBAM and Onebuild International. Last November 2017 he organised the inaugural Building and Construction Conference and Exhibition 2017 and made about Rm360,000/-  profit for MBAM which would be a yearly event creating recurring yearly income for MBAM going forward.

He is also the Organizing Chairman for the 44th International Federation of Asian and Western Pacific Contractors’ Association (IFAWPCA) Convention to be held from 12th to 16th November 2018 in KLCC. He is a good organiser and a successful entrepreneur. He is highly respected locally and internationally.

Eversendai Corporation Bhd

He is the controlling shareholder, founder and group managing director of Eversendai Corporation Bhd. 90% of Eversendai’s business are in overseas, flying the Malaysian flag high. The company has very good profit growth prospect which is the most powerful catalyst for moving its share price higher and higher. This is my golden rule in equity investing.

I have been watching and investing in the stock market for more than 50 years, currently I cannot find any good construction contracting company which have good profit growth prospect, for me to buy their shares. I am now the 2nd largest shareholder of Eversendai.

I was told the whole voting was very well planned and orchestra by few stupid idiots within the council for their individual benefit and aspiration to remove Tan Sri A K Nathan. Many ignorant members supported these unscrupulous stupid idiots blindly.

If all the 26 council members honestly examine their track records, they must realise that they have not been able to beat Tan Sri Nathan’s amazing track record as I mentioned above.

How dare they voted out Nathan?

Can MBAM manage the coming 44th IFAWPCA Convention without Nathan?

Now the best way to improve MBAM image is for the 26 council members to invite Tan Sri Nathan to be the President, otherwise I can foresee MBAM to go downhill.
