Currently China has a total of 90,671 Covid 19 cases and 4,636 deaths. The chart below shows the number of daily new cases. China has an average of 20 daily new cases in the last 7 days.
The above record shows there are 152 million Covid 19 cases in the world and 3.19 million deaths. US has 32.4 million cases and 576,000 deaths.
India has 19.2 million cases and 212,000 deaths. These 2 numbers are surging. India will soon have the greatest number of cases and deaths in the world.
The Indian Authorities just reported 401,993 new cases in the previous 24 hours, after 10 consecutive days of more than 300,000 daily cases. Deaths jumped by 3,523, taking the country’s total toll to 211,853, according to the federal health ministry.
Background
The emerging infectious disease, coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), poses a serious threat in China and worldwide. Challenged by this serious situation, China has taken many measures to contain its transmission. This study aims to systematically review and record these special and effective practices, in hope of benefiting for fighting against the ongoing worldwide pandemic.
Methods
The measures taken by the governments was tracked and sorted on a daily basis from the websites of governmental authorities (e.g. National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China). And the measures were reviewed and summarized by categorizations, figures and tables, showing an ever-changing process of combating with an emerging infectious disease. The population shift levels, daily local new diagnosed cases, daily mortality and daily local new cured cases were used for measuring the effect of the measures.
Briefly, the Chinese Government considers human lives is more important than human freedom and financial gain. The Government will not hesitate to lockdown any city as soon as the number of Covid cases is increasing. The Chinese people are very obedient and will follow the rules set by the Government. When they are out in the public, they wear face masks and practice social distancing. They also wash their hands frequently.
Why US has the most Covid 19 cases in the world?
When Trump was the US President, he did not even believe in wearing face masks. He blamed China for creating the coronavirus. He called it Kongflu. Fortunately, when Joe Biden became the new President, he immediately took all the necessary action to control the spread of the coronavirus and instituted massive vaccination. As a result, the number of new cases is gradually reduced.
Conclusion:

Currently the numbers of new Covid 19 cases and deaths are surging in many countries around the world. All the countries especially the US and India should learn from China.
